All of us at Sodexo are so proud to have been chosen by the people of Warwick, the gateway to Rhode Island, to be your food service partner for the next five years.
We understand that you have entrusted us with the nutritional well-being of your children during the school day, and we accept our responsibilities with the highest sense of purpose. President Roosevelt described our shared mission with admirable succinctness; together, we shall build our youth for the future.
Over the past few months we have made a series of commitments to you. We have promised to bring to Warwick levels of service, innovation, and fiscal control that are the standards for our industry – standards Sodexo set and Sodexo promises to exceed.
Our food service will be nothing short of world class. And as we do for all of our Rhode Island partners, we’ll bring to the table a full menu of “extras,” including the Backpackers and Back to School programs, our Be Fit Guide, Hot 106 ... and that’s just for starters.
Each month through the remainder of this calendar year, the Warwick Page of our new, expanded website will include special “Getting to Know Each Other” features. We’ll introduce our staff, highlight all that is new about our efforts, share the history of Sodexo and its long, storied presence in Rhode Island, and always invite your feedback and ideas.
In the meantime, you’re going to notice significant improvements that we won’t have to talk about. Like more fresh fruit and vegetables, more locally grown produce, and the most thoroughly and rigorously trained staff in the world of food service.
So without further ado, and if you’ll all take your seats, we’ll begin.
